In this day and age, teams are trying to get an advantage any way they can. Nowadays, a connection between sports and technology is evidently changing sports: whether it be improvements for the body, a team, or recruiting. For now, we will be focusing on an app called ChalkTalk.

USC Fans should be Upset with Pat Haden

The NCAA came down hard on USC with sanctions, and Pat Haden stood around to watch it. He wanted to play the good guy and follow everything the NCAA said to do in order to “do things the right way”. Now that 500 pages worth of e-mails have been released, all the suspicions of the Trojan Faithful that the NCAA had completely done them wrong have been confirmed.

Pat Haden knew the NCAA had done them wrong the whole time, and did nothing about it. Other programs such as Penn State and Miami had threatened to sue the NCAA, and it worked out perfectly for them as they ended up with minimal penalties and little punishment for infractions that seemed to be much larger than USC’s. Now however, it is too late to make up for all the punishments that the NCAA handed down.  But still, Pat Haden is still hesitant to act upon the NCAA. Still contemplating whether to take legal action or not even with these new documents founded.

Pat Haden is currently refusing to attend a conference in Indiana, boycotting a law against gays. He is the father of a gay son. I have no problem with this, but would it have hurt to stick up for your Trojan Family like you are doing your son Mr. Haden? Haden should be held accountable for the penalties that USC was thrashed with because he stood and did nothing about it. He let the NCAA step all over USC, and the Trojan Faithful should be as angry with him as they are with the NCAA. 

Oregon Unable to Overcome Frist Half Mistakes and Ezekiel Elliot

Boom. Boom. Boom. Oregon (13-2) and its offense was clicking on all cylinders to start the 2015 National Title Monday night, storming out to get a quick 7-0 lead on Ohio State (14-1) just as they had against Florida State in the previous round. However, their next drive was stalled on third down when a perfect pass hit a receiver right in the chest in AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Ohio State followed that Oregon mistake with a touchdown. The game was then tied 7-7; however, another drive, another perfect pass, and another drop later, Ohio State scored another touchdown to take the edge on Oregon 14-7. Oregon’s mistakes on offense were killing themselves, one after another. Ohio State’s offense gave Oregon two gifts in the form of fumbles, but Oregon still couldn’t capitalize.  A couple of drives later the Ducks got to the goal line and were stopped on 4^th down. And finally, right before the half, the Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota, who had been robbed of completions by his own receivers, missed a wide open tight end that could have gotten the Ducks a first down and goal, a simple play for the Heisman Trophy Winner.

            The second half started out a tale of a different story, with Ohio State turning the ball over and Oregon being able to get points off those mistakes. But unfortunately for the Oregon, their lack of size and inability to score in the red zone haunted them in the second half along with Running Back, Elliot running all over the Ducks defense just as he had done against Alabama in the first round of the playoffs. The winded Ducks just seemed unable to tackle the Ohio State star, who bulldozed over Duck defenders one after another. Elliot’s 246 yard career high capped off the second best season for a RB in Ohio State history. In the end, if there was any doubt before, another Oregon mistake took away any of that with an off sides penalty, allowing the Buckeyes to walk in the end zone for the final touchdown to cap off the win and end the game to drop the Ducks to 0-9 against the Buckeyes all time and elude them of their first national title.

Ohio State Takes It All: Overcoming Adversity

On January 12th, the Ohio State Buckeyes defeated the Oregon Ducks 42-20.  The Buckeyes were able to capitalize despite having their first or second string quarterback.

  This season has been a season in which the Buckeyes have truly overcome adversity. At the very beginning of the season, they had a player that many people thought would win the heisman. Quarterback Braxton Miller went down early this year, keeping him on the sideline for the remainder of the season. From then on , the baton was passed to J.T Barrett.

  On the second game that Barrett started  , the Buckeyes suffered their first defeat against a mediocre Virginia Tech team. At this point, many had written the Buckeyes off as college football playoff hopefuls. After that game, Barrett and the Buckeyes never looked back. J.T Barrett ( a freshman)  went on a rampage! For the rest of the season, Barrett had a touchdown-to-interception ratio of 6:1. Barrett was able to carry the team all the way to the forever huge rivalry game between the Ohio State and Michigan.  In that game, Barrett injured his leg. From then on, the baton was passed to Cardale Jones.

Jones' first start for the Buckeyes was in the Big Ten Conference Championship game. What a way to begin your starting campaign. Jones has had previous experience, but that is not equivalent to stage that he was about to be placed on.  With that being said , Cardale handled the pressure very well. In the conference championship game, Jones threw for 3 touchdowns and 257 yards. Cardale's next challenge took place against the college football modern day golden child, the Alabama Crimson Tide.  Battling against the Crimson Tide, the Buckeyes were able to will their to a 42-35 victory. At this point, Jones has been battle tested and has stepped up two games in a row. Needless to say, Cardale was able to get the last and most important game of the season: the College Football Playoff Championship Game.

Ohio State did a great job of overcoming adversity. There were able to be successful without two of the better players on the team. In order to overcome such adversity in college football, it takes two major qualities: determination and a good team.

Determination
Too many times in any sport, once a great player goes down, teams are deflated. When this occurs, the will and want to win must become even greater. It is almost guaranteed that those Ohio State players were even more motivated for a couple of reasons. 1) They were the last team selected to the College Football Playoffs. 2) With their teammates injured, they want to win it all out of support for them.  The level of determination that Ohio State displayed proved that with the right attitude, things can be accomplished.

Good Team
While determination can really take a team to another level, it takes a certain level of skill to even be in the  position to compete for a national championship.  The Ohio State Buckeyes were not only talented in the quarterback position, but they were also talented in every other position. Running back Ezekiel Elliot rushed for 249 yards and 4 touchdowns. The defense held the high scoring Oregon Ducks to just 20 points. Ohio State out played the Oregon Ducks in every aspect of the game.

College Football Playoffs: Alabama vs. Ohio St. Preview

In the midst of the college football bowl season, you see it all. You see trick plays, hard hits, lucky plays, and game winning drives. This year, college football fans have the chance to witness something that has been long awaited for: a college football playoff.

In this year's playoffs, the top 4 teams compete for a chance to win the championship.  The last of two games features the Ohio St. Buckeyes playing against the Alabama Crimson Tide. Let's take a look at some of the keys to the game.

What to Watch

What offensive scheme will Ohio State use to propel the offense?
Despite only losing 1 game, Ohio State has dealt with a number of blows, ESPECIALLY in the quarterback position.  Early in the season, the Buckeyes lost pre-season Heisman hopeful Braxton Miller. The 2nd string quarterback , J.T Barrett went on a TEAR this season after losing his second career game to Virginia Tech. Barrett went on to throw 34 touchdowns and 10 interceptions this year. All in 13 games. Unfortunately for Barrett and the Buckeyes, Barrett injured his leg in the game against the Michigan Wolverines. This would leave the Buckeyes with only 3rd string quarterback Cardale Jones.

While Jones does not have a lot of college game experience, he has played well while in the game. Jones has completed 22 out of 34 passes and 5 touchdowns thus far. (Granted, those stats were performed against defenses that simply do not compare to Alabama.) The key for the Ohio State will be the ability to make big plays throwing the ball. Everyone in the country is aware that this will be Jones' first big time game as a quarter for Ohio State. Alabama will most likely try to make the Buckeyes one dimensional  Jones and the Buckeyes must show that they are not going to alter their game plan tremendously just because they are playing Alabama. Thus, in order to move the ball well , they must throw the ball. Don't be surprised if they throw the deep ball multiple times to test Alabama.

Can Alabama keep momentum going? 
After Alabama's loss to Ole Miss mid-season, many people wrote them off as a potential college football playoff team. At that time, both Ole Miss and Miss. St. were top 5 teams, with Auburn right there. Like life, Alabama simply took care of the their part in winning out the rest of the year, and the rest took care of itself. Ever since the loss, the Crimson Tide has been playing like the number one team in the nation. Since that loss, Alabama defeated a total of 5 top 25 teams to finish 12-1. Alabama has been battle tested a couple of times this year. We beat Arkansas by one point. They defeated LSU in Louisiana in overtime. They also defeated the #1 Mississippi St. Bulldogs  by 5 points. As long as Alabama can continue to play the way that they have, they will be competitive in the game.

This year, there were questions as to if Blake Sims would be able to do well as the starting quarterback. Needless to say, Sims has steadily improve as the season goes on. In the past 8 games, Sims has thrown 18 touchdowns and just 4 interceptions.  Heisman finalist Amari Cooper will be hard for anyone to handle.

X-Factor

Ohio State's Defense 
The key X-Factor for the Buckeyes will be the defense. While many think it may be Caleb Jones, I believe that the defense can either really help Jones or put him in a tougher position. The defense will be facing an Alabama offense who has been clicking on all cylinders right now. If the defense can manage to get stops on at least half of the possessions, then they will have a very good chance at winning. Field position will be a key in this game. Therefore, Ohio State must take advantage.

Alabama's Blake Sims
We know that the Alabama defense is notorious for making plays when it's a close game. The offense starts and ends based on the performance of Blake Sims. As long as Sims is making good decisions with the football, Bama will have no problem moving the ball. However, if he is unable to do , this will cause for more pressure on the defense to make plays.

NCAA Football Matchup: Arizona at Utah

Week 13 is another step closer and closer to the playoffs. While there are no games that would greatly impact the playoff standings, there are huge Pac 12 south implications in this game.

What To Watch:


Utah: Look for Utah to throw the ball. Usually, that's what they do best. However, this year running the ball has been the more successful thing to do. This year, Utah is ranked 54th in rushing yards, while they are 99th in passing. If the Utes can get the passing game going, they can be pretty successful in this game.

Arizona: With Arizona, passing the ball is the key. Led by Anu Solomon, the Wildcats are ranked 14th in the nation for most passing yards per game. Their go-to targets are receivers Cayleb Jones and Austin Hill. If the Wildcats get their passing game flowing early, they will be VERY hard to stop.




X-FACTOR: Utah & Arizona 's Defense
With these two teams being fairly evenly matched , each team's defense will determine which way the game goes. With Utah having home field advantage, Arizona must perform well early. Utah has put up over 50 points in 2 games this year. (Both against mediocre teams, but it surely means that they can put up points.)

Predictions

NCAA Football SEC Game of the Week: Ole Miss at LSU

The SEC game of the week is #3 Ole Miss traveling to Louisiana to face the #24 LSU Tigers. In a game in which has significant meaning, there will be a few things to look for in this game. How will Ole Miss respond now that they are the targets in games? Will LSU be able to knock off Ole Miss and slow down their offense?

WHAT TO WATCH:

LSU:  LSU has a record of 5-2, losing to #1 Mississippi St. and #5 Auburn. LSU lost to Mississippi St. 34-29, in a game that Mississippi St. gained national attention. If it weren't for these two losses, LSU would easily be a top 5 team. One thing that LSU possesses is the ability to score. This season, the LSU Tigers has scored at least 28 points in all but ONE game. Look for the LSU to really try to put up points against the Rebels, especially since they have the home field advantage. The Tigers rank 30th in rushing, yet they are 98th in passing. The rushing attack is led by a two headed monster (Leonard Fournette and Kenny Hillard). Fournette and Hillard have combined to score 13 TD's and almost 900 yards. If they want to defeat the Rebels, they MUST make sure that they get the running game going. Ole Miss is simply absolutely NOTHING to mess around with on defense. Ole Miss only gives up an average of 10 points a game! That is not alot compared to the 35 points that the Tigers average per game.



          In order for LSU  to be successful, they must find unconventional ways to move the ball up and down the field. LSU does have two quarterbacks (Sophomore Anthony Jennings and Freshman Brandon Harris) that have the ability to run and throw the ball. Look for a number of quarterback draws and options. Both of these quarterbacks have over a 50% completion rate. They will have to be on their A-games to give LSU a chance.

Ole Miss:  After coming off yet another sound win against Tennessee, Ole Miss seems to be on a roll like no other team. With a defense that ranks 1st in points against, and a offense that averages 282 passing yards a game, it's no wonder why they are ranked #3.
               

                  The offense begins and ends with quarterback Bo Wallace. Wallace has been able to throw for 1899 yards and 17TDs. Wallace been able to give throw to many targets such as Laquon Treadwell, and Vince Sanders, and Cody Core. All three of these receivers have 4 touchdowns. In order to win, Ole Miss must make sure that they are being able to move the ball with their passing game. Look for Ole Miss to try and run the ball. The running game is led by back Jaylen Walton. Walton has been able to rush for nearly 400 yards and 4TD's.  If Ole Miss can rush the ball, they will be dynamic and tough to stop.

             
                 While their offense may be very solid, their defense has been the key to their success. The most points they have allowed this season is 20. In addition, they gave 20 points to a Texas A&M team that averages 364 passing yards per game. The defense has been able to take on team after team, and take away their strengths.

X-FACTOR

LSU: Anthony Jennings
 If LSU wants to have a chance to win, they MUST have good quarterback play. They will need to have a balanced attack if they want to keep the game close. LSU starter Anthony Jennings will have to play well, getting the ball out quickly and making the accurate throws. He will not have to do it alone. He will have the rushing attack behind him, and he will have the help of quarterback Brandon Harris. Since Jennings is the quarterback on the field for majority of the time, he will determine how much the ball moves.

Ole Miss: The Defense
In this game, it will be very important for the defense to make an impact early. It will be a night, nationally televised game. Louisiana State will be hosting the number 3 team in the country AT HOME. Look for LSU to feed off of the crowd, especially on their first offensive possession. If Ole Miss is able to for LSU to become one dimensional, they can psychologically take the crowd out of the game.



PREDICTION:
Ole Miss: 24-21

NCAA Football: The State of Mississippi (Hometown Heroes)

"King City" is a phrase used to describe an area where Mississippian artist "Big K.R.I.T " is from. That phrase should be changed to King State based off of the way Mississippi's major college football programs are playing right now. In a short span of 5 weeks, both Ole Miss and Mississippi State are BOTH top 5 teams.

Road to the Top:

Ole Miss:
    Entering into week 6, Ole Miss was 5-0, facing the number 1 Alabama Crimson Tide.  Alabama has the won the championship three times out of the past six years. Basically , Alabama has been the ULTIMATE POWERHOUSE of football for the 2010's thus far. Ole Miss on the other hand , has had a losing record two out of the last four seasons. This year, Ole Miss hosted Alabama on their home field: and they would take full advantage. After being down the first three quarters, Ole Miss scored the last 13 points of the game to defeat Alabama 23-17. A win of this magnitude has never been done, as Alabama was the first #1 ranked team that Ole Miss have ever beaten. This week , Ole Miss is the 3rd ranked team in the country.

Mississippi St.:
    The Mississippi St. Bulldogs could not have imagined a better start to their season. Led by Heisman hopeful Dak Presscott, the Bulldogs have managed to beat LSU at their house, and a great offense in Texas A&M. In the past two games, the offense has averaged 32.5 points per game. Mississippi St. has finally put everything together to form a great overall team.
Usually , Mississippi St. has one side of the field (offense or defense) that is solid, yet the opposite side of the field would not be on the same level. Therefore, once they were forced to play a well balanced team, they would falter in defeat more times than not. Mississippi is now the number 3 as well in the AP Top 25 Poll.

History of the State:

 
    Although both Ole Miss and Mississippi St. have been playing in the very competitive conference (SEC), the state of Mississippi has NOT had a NCAA champion since 1962(Ole Miss). Mississippi St. has never won a championship. Whether you are fan of either one of these schools or not, it's hard not to admire the fact that these two teams are on a roll. Combined , these two teams have beaten the following teams this year: Alabama, LSU, and Texas A&M. With these two schools currently undefeated, they are both in a great position to reach the college playoffs; and win! But the question is: Will they?

Can they sustain this run? 

Ole Miss:
    While both they teams are currently in a great position, they still face many other great teams. Ole Miss will travel to an angry Texas A&M team next week. This season, Ole Miss will still have to face LSU (at LSU), Auburn, and their arch rival: Mississippi St. These three games are all potentially make or break games for Ole Miss, since these teams will be in contention for a spot in the college football playoffs.  This will not be an easy task, but if Ole Miss can beat Alabama, why couldn't they beat anyone else?

Mississippi St.:
    Coming off of back-to-back wins against top SEC foes, Mississippi St. will look to move forward as they face undefeated Auburn in what will be a primetime game this Saturday night. If Mississippi State can defeat Auburn, they will have a good chance at possibly finishing the regular season undefeated. Of course, they still have to get by Ole Miss. However, they have been through the toughest part of their season. Look for them to make a run.

After many years of college football pain, the state of Mississippi has not one, but TWO college teams they can be proud of.

SEC Football Game of the Week: Georgia at South Carolina

Although early in the season, this is still definitely a game worth watching. This Saturday, the Georgia Bulldogs will take on the South Carolina Gamecocks. Both teams are ranked, with Georgia ranked 6th and South Carolina ranked 24th. An early SEC game such as this may have a huge impact later on in the season. For Georgia, a win on the road like this will keep them on pace for potentially making the NCAA College Playoffs.




WHAT TO WATCH
Georgia: Coming off of a year in which Georgia was plagued by injuries, look for them to bounce back this season in a major way. Against Clemson, Georgia was able to run very the ball extremely well! Running back Todd Gurley played like a complete beast. Gurley was able to rush for 198 and 3 touchdowns. Look for Georgia to give Gurley close to 20 touches in this game. Quarterback Hudson Mason had an efficient game, throwing 18/26. The Georgia gave up close to 300 yards and 21 points against a good Clemson team. Look for Georgia to play a mixture of coverage packages since South Carolina has been heavily passing the ball this year. In passing yards, they rank 26th in FBS. Rushing yards? 106th.

South Carolina:
After their loss to Kenny Hill and the Aggies' incredible performance, the Gamecocks were able to bounce back and defeat ECU by 10 points.While Hill did take the country by storm, Dylan Thompson did perform very well, throwing for 4 touchdowns. Look for Thompson to take a couple of shots down the field to receivers Nick Jones and Pharoah Cooper. In the rushing game , running back Mike Davis was able to find some ground. He rushed for over 100 yards and a pair of touchdowns in last week's game. While we know that South Carolina will be throwing much throughout the game, they would be ecstatic if they could get Davis going against a tough Georgia defense.




X-FACTOR

Georgia: This week's x-factor will be Hudson Mason. Gurley will come ready to play, but South Carolina will have a defensive scheme that will try to contain him. Most teams tend to pack the middle when trying to contain a running back. Look for the safeties of South Carolina to either blitz or RB watch from time to time.  If Mason could continue to move the ball and be efficient like he has, big play opportunities will be there.

South Carolina: The week's x-factor for South Carolina will be Mr. Mike Davis. He will be a big factor in this game, as Georgia will look to for the Gamecocks to be one-dimensional. If Davis and the offensive line can move the ball with the running game, this will put pressure on Georgia to play for both the pass and the run. If they are unable to do so, Georgia will simply rush the quarterback and play in multiple coverages.

PREDICTIONS
With a tough game such as this, both teams will come to play. Both teams basically face each other each and every year, with both their regular season and conference record hanging in the balance. Since the game is in Georgia, they will have a good advantage. I predict that the Georgia Bulldogs will win 24-21.

Rating Jadeveon Clowney: Madden NFL 15

This guy is simply a FREAK OF NATURE. Standing at 6'6 270lbs, he runs just as fast as the average running back. In college , Jadeveon had 24 sacks in three years at South Carolina, where he made a name for himself.

Jadeveon Clowney is projected to be the number 1 draft pick by the Houston Texans. Funny thing is Clowney would not be the Texans number 1 need. The Texans are in need of  a quarterback, in which there are 3 projected to go in the first round (Blake Bortles, Teddy Bridgewater, and Blake Bortles).

STRENGHTS
Jadeveon has the potential to be everything that an NFL Team would and more from a defensive end. Jadeveon possesses the ability to drive through offensive linemen with his strength. With his large frame and long wing span, Clowney can also deflect alot of passes that quarterbacks throw along the line of scrimmage. When one-on-one with an offensive linemen, he has the speed to run right around offensive linemen.

WEAKNESS
The major concern that teams have with Clowney is his "work ethic". In the past he has shown signs of possibliy not going the extra mile, which is something that every great player must do. In college, he did not play the last few regular season games in his college career to aviod aggrevating an injury even more. While working out for South Carolina , he initially stated that he was only working out there and not for any teams. Examples such as these do raise questions as to whether or not he would do the same in the NFL.

Overall, this guy has the potentail to become one of the greatest defensive ends ever. Guys with his size and athletic ability just don't come around that often. My Madden rating for Jadeveon Clowney is: 79.

Rating Johnny Manziel: Madden NFL 2015

Nicknamed "Johnny Football"Johnny Manziel is one of the top draft choices in the upcoming 2014 NFL Draft. Standing 6'0ft tall, he is not the prototypical quarterback. NFL scouts have many concerns when it comes to  Since he's not tall , he won't have the easiest time seeing over the offensive line, with guys usually 6'2 and taller. With his style of play , Manziel gets sacked alot and makes inaccurate throws because he likes to scramble. In addition, Manziel has is known to be somewhat of a kid that likes the spotlight alittle too much.

With that being said, Manziel has the competitive spirit that matches up with the greats. When it comes to his competitive nature, he is similar to former UF quarterback Tim Tebow. He will do anything and everything to win to try to win a game. With his exceptional play making ability, any team would like to have Manziel on their team. Manziel is the type of player to rise to the occasion in huge games. He torched an amazing Alabama defense each year he played them. The kid is a pure winner. He is athletic as heck , and has potential to be one heck of a quarterback. The two questions that people have about him is his work ethic and his attitude. Manziel is fiery and will talk trash to anybody that talks to him. In the NFL, they will back up their talk and let him know that he's in the NFL. We will have to see how  that part of Manziel will pan out in the pros. As a rookie , I give him a Madden Rating of: 71.

NCAA Addition

Imagine you are the coach of a football team. If you highly anticipated player, and he's not playing up to your standards, what would you do? Well, more times than not , you would bench them.  In NCAA Football, the road to glory mode allows you to play no matter what. However , I thought of this idea based on seeing players and having players not play well for short periods of time. In this stance, I  believe that players would normally at least be benched. Even if they start to play in the 2nd quarter, they would at least be handled some type of warning that they need to play better.

In order for this to be successful, each position should be held to a certain standard depending on the level the gamer is playing on. For example, a rookie level running back should have at least 50 yards in 20 carries. The standard shouldn't be too difficult for anyone to achieve on each because if they get too hard, that would deflate the fun , excitement, and freedom from the game.

If this feature were added to the game, this would improve the game that is already great.  Both new and expert players would love this and  both benefit. Expert players would not be bored and would be challenged while still have some fun.  The new players would have something to strive for and brag about. This would make the game even more realistic and would raise the game up to another level!

NCAA Football 14: Road to Glory

Road to Glory. One of the best sections that could ever be added to a college football game. This feature allows gamers to play as individuals, growing from a senior high school football player into a full fledged college superstar.

 Within this year's game, the evidence of development is at an all time high. You have the ability to customize the player's body, uniform,  equipment, and accessories. Your player can be as similar to you as you desire. You can choose the difficulty level that you would like to start on (Freshman-Heisman), and the level does not have to be the same on each side of the ball.
Once you get started, you can choose between 7,8,9,11 high school games. Personally, I think that seven games would be more than enough, because even if you don't have the stats and stars you want by the end of the season , you will more than likely have playoff games in addition to the season.
As you go through each game and continue your high school football legacy, schools will begin to show interest and eventually offer you a scholarship. Once your season is over, you have the choice to either accept a scholarship from a school, or you choose to be a walk-on to a university.

Next Stop: College Football
 Well, you finally made it! You selected the school of your choice, now your on the team. Once you reach this point, one of two things could happen: you'll either be a starter right from the beginning of the season, or you'll have to work your way up. Parallel to real life, the only way that  you can reach the starting spot is in PRACTICE. In order to compete for the number 1 spot on the depth chart, in practice you must gain enough points to challenge the player with the spot ahead you. If you win the  challenge, you move up; if you fail, you have to challenge him again. If you play a skill position, you will have the opportunity to return punts and kicks whether or not you are starting. Not playing a skilled position? Well hey, at least you will be on special teams.

When you finally get to become the starter, the rest of your college career is in your hands. You play to gain skills, break records, and ultimately win championships. After your junior year, you have the option to forego your senior year, or skip that and head to the pros; on to Madden your go.

NCAA Football 14: First Gameplay

   It's finally here: NCAA Football 14. For sports gamers, it's been the most anticipated game this year thus far for the '14 games. Offering new features for Dynasty mode, recruiting, atmosphere, and more, I must say that the game did not disappoint.
 
   The gameplay was very smooth. It was very easy to control the player in whichever way I wanted him to go. The cuts that the gamer now has the ability to is amazingly realistic.

 In NCAA Football 14,players can now cut from one direction to another on the dime.  After playing one time, I can see a MAJOR  upgrade in the way tackling was made. In NCAA Football 13, tackling would either be in two ways: you either tackle the opponent in a regular way, or they just get close-lined. In football, that's not always the case. There are high tackles, lower body tackles, and 'whatever it takes to get the player down' tackles. Throughout my game, I was able to hit my opponents up high, hard, and even twirl them down from the ankles. I was also able to hit them from the waist. That part of the game was great to see.
 
Another part of the game that I found interesting were the players' movements. From time to time, you would see players stumble or slip. This was a great feature to add into the game because like in real college football, players slip all of the time. I loved the way it was added because even though it's there,  it's not prevalent to the point where it disrupts the game. It won't be a feature that would make or break a game.

   Acceleration has become very important in the game. What I mean by that, is saying that if one player is faster than another, it will show. In the open field, the person with the ball will either separate from the defender or get tackled , depending on their speed.

From what I've seen thus far, this game seems to be very promising. As I enter the glory mode and the dynasty mode, I can only hope that the game will continue to impress.
