Soccer Games in Google Play Store

With the World Cup slowly approaching , the gaming mobile market will be in a frenzy with many new and/or updated soccer games. Millions upon millions of viewers watch the WorldCup, which occurs once every four years. With EA Sports leading the way, they have already released their WorldCup version of FIFA 14. With that being said , I have spent some time playing with other soccer games to see what inventions are really being made and played in today's market.

First Game: "Stickman Soccer" by Djinworks
This game was rated an 4-star app in Google Play. Stickman Soccer is just about as good as it gets when it comes to mobile soccer games. With players as stickmen, the game is in a lot of ways comparable to a FIFA 14. This game contains smooth, easy game-play. Players move up and down easily, in which it is not hard to get the player in the desired direction. The "pass/shoot" is one the opposite side of the control stick, therefore it is hard to mistakenly hit the wrong button. When making mobile games, developers have to tackle the tough task of making sure that buttons don't overlap or interfere with other buttons. As a manager , you can use any country of choice, and embark on building a dynasty. If you are in search for a very high quality soccer game to download for no cost, consider "Stickman Soccer".

Second Game: Soccer Jump by GameSpill
Looking through the market, I stumbled upon this game titled "Soccer Jump"  by GameSpill. I was fascinated when I first played it because it wasn't a traditional soccer game. In this particular game, there are many soccer players and one soccer ball. The difference is instead of them playing each other, they are standing still. The objective of the game is to get the soccer ball to hit them on the heads and to continue moving upward. As the soccer ball moves upward, so does the screen. As the screen moves upward, the placement of players change. In order to advance, you must move the from left to right in order to move the soccer ball. I recommend this game to anyone, as this game is one of the most fun and addicting games in the soccer mobile market.

Fifa 14: WorldCup

With the WorldCup approaching this summer , many sports gaming companies are working on a WorldCup edition of various types of soccer games that are soon to be released. The most anticipated WorldCup game has to be 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil. Every four years, EA Sports released a special edition of FIFA dedicated to the WorldCup. In this game, national teams are more focused on rather than club teams in regular FIFA. As a gamer, you have the option to select any national team and try to build a dynasty with them. You can either choose to dominate with well known teams such as Spain, Portugal, Argentina , and Brazil, or you can try to build from the ground up using a lower-level national team.

FEATURES IN FIFA WorldCup
In this particular FIFA game, EA Sports focused  on a few areas that should allow the game to stand out among others.

The first feature that stands out is the improvement of  ball control . New animations have been added to get more realistic dribbling moves both in and out of the foot. Foot curling passes also have been added to the game which should help to create more kinds of passes.

One of the most important things to perfect in soccer games is the penalty kick. In FIFA WorldCup EA Sports has also added more animations to simulate more of an emotional feel to the game. Adding animations such as "wobbly knees" will let the gamer know that what they are about to do can make or break the game!

With the backing of Adidas , one feature added to the game includes "micoach training". This mode allows you to take your players add improve certain attributes that they are lacking in. There are up to 18 different types of training available.

GAME MODES
There are new, exciting game modes that EA Sports have added that should provide a ton of excitement for FIFA fans. The "Road to Rio  de Janeiro" game mode gives gamers the chance to compete online with friends. In this game mode, you first select one of the many national  teams and play along the 12 different host cities. If you make it to the final, you get to play for the FIFA World Cup Championship at Estadio do Maracana  in Rio.

Another exciting addition to the game is the "Captain your Country" mode. As an individual player, you work your way up  from the practice  squad to becoming the leader of your national team.

FIFA World Cup Brazil shall be the game of the summer for big soccer fans! The expected release date is April 24, 2014.
