In January, all five starters from the Atlanta Hawks were
named Players of the Month. The Hawks finished the month going 17-0 and
outscoring their opponents by an average of 11.9 points per game. This shows
how incredible the offense is and why the team deserves to be the top of the
Eastern Conference. Paul Millsap averaged 18.3 points per game, Al Horford
averaged 17.1, Kyle Korver averaged 13.4, Jeff Teague averaged 16.6, and
DeMarre Carroll had 12.3 per game. The fact that all of these numbers are
relatively close together shows how well these players balance each other out.
